Yes I'm a fan..^_^

I’m not really a basketball fan before. I prefer to watch V-league (Volleyball) or MLB (Baseball) whenever I have free time, but my being a sports enthusiast turn into much higher level when I watched James playing for purefoods on his 2nd year. Actually I first saw him on The Buzz, that time he was being interviewed together with then girlfriend Ms. Kris Aquino, and now his wife. My attention was caught by his simple yet charming looks, his quiet and shy personality and of course his kindness and love for his family. I said to myself “Gwapo na mabait pa, astig ah!. Panuorin ko nga sa PBA”. So I did, I watched his team’s every game on tv and became a supporter not only of the team but of him also. From then on, I had this instant frenzy on watching basketball games. I’ll see to it that I had the team’s game schedule posted on the door of my room. Since we don’t have internet connection at home, after school I’ll get a quick drop by at my school’s cyber library just to get the schedule at PBA’s website.

I had a stroke when I was 17, but that doesn’t mean I forgot the team and James. I still remember that Purefoods’ had game that night. They’re fighting for semifinals. I was lying in the bed at a private hospital, that was Sunday night of June 25, 2005, conscious yet sleepy because of all the medicine I took. I asked my worried father to open the television because Purefoods’ had game and I had to see James playing. I don’t know what’s really happening that time, expect for the numbness on my left body, all that I want is to watch and enjoy the game though I am not feeling really well having a lot apparatus on different parts of my body. I didn’t finish the game because I had to rest; the doctor said that my condition was serious that I had to go to much better hospital in Manila. I was confined for 2 weeks in Philippine General Hospital. Because we don’t have enough money to get a private room, I had to stay in a ward. They had a tv their, kind of a relief because I can still watch basketball games but the sad thing is I can’t go and watch the game closely because I can’t walk. So my father became an instant side court reporter for me. He told about the team’s performance that they will play on the finals with Redbull. After all the pain, tears and hardship in the hospital we went home. My neurologist advised me to live normally even though I already have this disability. We got home; get a physical therapist to help me recover more from the stroke. While having our therapy sessions the television is always on so that I can still watch the game. See how I get so addict? My life is at risk but I’m still thinking of watching their game on tv.

On that same year James got his first MVP on PBA, Kris was there cheering for him while I was at home finishing the final therapy session of that day. I’m so happy for James. I still remember that me and my sister was shouting like crazy because he is the MVP. I feel like his achievement was my achievement too. He’s an inspiration to me. From then on, I said to my therapist that he had to let me walk on my own because I have to watch Purefoods live that I want to see James on live action. So I did I great job on that goal. I walk on my own but of course not the same as before. My father promised me that we’re going to watch live games as soon as I get better. With James winning the MVP, Purefoods had this wonderful achievement also. They won over Redbull and got another All-Filipino title which made me happier and made me an official FAN.

I’m on my 3rd year coping with my disability. Doing what my neurologist had told me that I must live my life normally. Yes I did, being a fan is one of those. Since I can’t manage to go in different places alone to catch basketball games I just followed James on different websites instead. I joined some forums, and clubs which I gained these friends I have now. But there’s always a surprise in everything we do. It was March 7 of this year, when I got a wonderful present from my father. He bought a ticket for all of us. We watched Purefoods’ game. WOW. That was the happiest birthday ever, because we got to see James and his teammates and we also got his autograph. I’m just a bit disappointed because I didn’t have the chance to have picture with him but that’s okay, well, seeing them is what I really want in the first place. The picture was just second on my list.

I’m looking forward to have pictures with them since I got the first on my list. But for now I’m enjoying the privilege of being cw and pol’s forumer and yapsters’ temporary member. Having friends to whom you can share your thoughts and kiligs for James and his family. I will be his supporter till the end. Whatever team he end up retiring I’m still one of his biggest but quiet fan..hehehe..

14th NYC of STI

It was my first time to attend a Youth convention, considering it's national. Having everything for free, except for the food is really a good thing. But learning more about different things is another thing.

When I heard about that convention i had this feeling that I might not enjoy the event because of my disability but all my fears turned into excitement when I wake up on that thursday morning and get ready to go to school and wait for the bus to picked us up and brought us to SMX convention center. We arrived there early because we will be one of those many participants in that 14th National Youth Convention of STI and we were scheduled to attend the first batch of lectures hat morning.

The lecture started at around 9 in the morning. It was started by Mr. Albert Guzman who delivered the opening remarks, followed by the first lecture of Sir Spanky Rodriguez that talks about blog's life. He talked about the different things we can blog about. He even showed us the blogs that had a very large impact in our country. The second speaker is Mr. Dennis Evangelista who talked abot pe'sonality or how we can maximize our talents to help us practice how to save our money or allowance . Lastly is Sir Jojo Recio who, on the other hand, talked about connecting with people because good relationship and communication skills towards people.

To sum this all up, being on that convention is really a new experience to me. Aside from learning a lot of things from the speakers, I also had the chance to explore the things that I can do all by myself. I even had the chance to meet people from different branches of STI and to bond with my classmates and friends which is a good thing because I get the opportunity to communicate with them. All the things that they've taught really helped me in a way. That's why that National Youth Convention will surely be included in the list of my memorable experiences.

Octuplet's Mom..how do you react?

Here are some of Nadya Suleman photos during pregnancy..

I was really shocked when i saw the photos (credits to JJ and TMZ) because it was really a huge belly. To think that she have 8 little babies inside that big tummy is really WOW!

???You're question would be, how can a single sperm and egg cell produce such a huge amount of babies? Does it hurts? Is she aware of the big responsibility?

♥♥♥She's not married..She's already a single mom of 6 ..at the age of 33, she gave birth to her octuplet..

She had an IVF treatment..The sperm came from whom she called her 'friend'..She's aware of every law there is regarding the father of her children..

She's also aware of the fact that raising 6 + 8 more children, with a total of 14, is a risky thing to do..she has no job..

She has her reasons why she did the thing..

Maybe a lot of people won't understand her but she's happy having these kids..She will do her best to raise them all as best as she could because they are gifts from God..

They need financial support..
if you have that heart of gold, do support them.

To know her reasons..this is her story..

Part 4 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zi9DE_KYsl0

The family, especially the mother, need not your criticisms but your sympathy and support..

A Gossip Girl??

Another blog from my friendster account..

I wrote this last October 19, 2008

When Mille arrived from Manila, she went to my place to pay her “kautangans” and to make kwento at the same time..She brought her Gossip Girl Season 1 cd for us to watch while we are chatting and eating..nagpatak kaming dalawa for our favorite pancit canton..it should be our other favorite, siomai, pero si Mama ang sabi wag na lng at di daw masarap..so we’ve finally decided na canton na nga lang..nagluto kami sa rice cooker..then nagtimpla ng juice at nagwatch na ng Gossip Girl..

At first it was confusing coz I don’t know the story yet..Si Mille naman Kwento ng kwento while we’re watching (of course bout Marki Boi)..pero nung naapreciate ko na ng story yun nagustuhan ko na xa ng bonggang bongga..naka 3 episodes ata kami ni Mille when she decided to go home at pupunta pa daw siya sa patay (brother nung klasmeyt namin nung elementary)..she left the cd..sabi niya “Ye, sayo muna to..tapusin mo agad at maraming humihiram niyan”..then umuwi na xa..I stop watching kasi la na akong kajamming tapos may umaagaw pa ng tv..ayun..

the next day nanuod ulit ako..hindi ko na tinigilan ang panunuod..pero hindi ko parin natapos..finally after almost a week natapos ko rin..daming asungot eh..hindi makagamit ng tv..

and now I’m super “hooked” (term ni camille) na sa series na ito..I’m super kinikilig sa loveteam ni Dan (the lonely boy) at Serena (the It girl)..I made a name for them..hahaha, sabi ni Mille pang HSM daw..pero I liked it..i called them Danerena..

I’m super excited na tuloy sa second season..sana may pirated na..hehehe..wala kasing cable channel nito dito samin..

Maybe these are the reasons why i’m hooked with this series..

1. talks about teenagers (like me)

2. tackles friendship, enimies, love ones/family..

3. the fashion (which i don’t want to copy, i just want to see them dressed that way)

4. the cast (coz they portrayed the characters really well)

5. the issues/gossip (coz I’m a chismosa..but a different one)

–and last i just love the way the narrator say’s her line (kyut eh)–

And who am i? thats the secret ill never tell… you know
you love me…
